Silk Shirts Review 2020- Everlane vs Siizu vs Equipment vs Banana Republic
4 brands silk shirts/blouse review: Everlane vs Siizu vs Equipment vs Banana Republic. I compare my silk shirts at price, quality, sheerness, size/fit, colors, take care/wash care.
I love to wear silk shirts to work, those are my best silk shirts/blouses brands. Those silk shirts/silk blouses offer pretty good quality and price in general.
Everlane
The Clean Silk Relaxed Shirt
1.Everlane The Clean Silk Relaxed Shirt, color mint
Everlane silk shirts are very popular on the internet. The Everlane shirt I have is color mint, more like very light green. This one is very light, almost like white, just a hit of green.
Sheerness: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (most sheer compare to the other 3 brands)
Quality: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ (soft & comfortable)
Price: ⭐️⭐️ (original $98, I got $59)
Size/Fit: I wear size 6, I am 5’2, 130lb (close to Ann Taylor, J. Crew, Banana republic’s sizes)
Wash: instruction says Dry Clean, but I put in wash machine with “hand wash” or “delicate “cycle and air dry.
What I like about Everlane silk shirts is you don’t need to worry about it when you need one. Everlane always has basic silk shirts available on their website. You know their styles are always basic chic, great for work, pretty for minimalists. Price is around $100 which is acceptable for most people but sometimes even better you can get it on sale as I did.
Siizu

Siizu is brand is pretty new for me. I think this brand is similar to Everlane, no matter style or price. The biggest difference is Everlane has more products that come to clothes. Everlane also sells shoes, bags, men’s wear that Siizu only sells clothes and jewelry.
Sheerness: ⭐️ (thickest compare to the other 3 brands)
Quality: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ( soft, thick, strong, only one the button fell off the third time I washed)
Price: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ (original $95, I got $85.5)
Size/Fit: I wear size M, I am 5’2, 130lb (One size smaller than Ann Taylor, J. Crew, Banana republic, Everlane’s sizes)
Wash: instruction says Dry Clean or machines wash cold, gentle cycle, I put in wash machine with “hand wash” or “delicate “cycle and air dry.
Siizu silk shirt/blouse has very good fabric quality, their quality is better than Everlane and Banana Republic. However, Siizu is rarely on sale but Everlane and the Banana Republic are on sale pretty offer, especially Banana Republic.
Equipment

Equipment is the most high-end brand compare other 3 brands here.
Sheerness: ⭐️⭐️ ⭐️ (sheer but not very sheer)
Quality: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ( silky soft, luxury feeling)
Price: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (original $289, I got $67.20)
Size/Fit: I got size M, but I should get size S, I am 5’2, 130lb (close Ann Taylor, J. Crew, Banana republic, Everlane’s sizes)
Wash: instruction says Dry Clean, I put in wash machine with “hand wash” or “delicate “cycle and air dry. There is a reason why equipment silk shirt is well known in the silk clothes area. This equipment shirt’s quality is amazing. It looks expensive and luxurious. I feel so fracking good when I put on. I just adored this shirt. Well, you got what you pay for. Equipment has the highest price in general.
Banana Republic

I got four Banana Republic silk shirts in different colors and styles.
Sheerness: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (a bit less sheer than Everlane but very close)
Quality: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ (soft & comfortable)
Price: ⭐️⭐️ (original $129, I got $42 for the black one, others banana republic silk shirts I have are from $52 to $60)
Size/Fit: I wear S, I am 5’2, 130lb (close to Ann Taylor, J. crew, Everlane’s sizes)

I like Banana Republic Silk Shirt because they have good prices, decent quality, and easy to take care. I like to wear them to work and not worry about if I spill something on because they are easy to take care. The worst it gets scratched or destroy, I would not feel that bad about it. One thing about banana silk shirts is they are not as stable as Everlane, Banana republic changes their silk shirt style and price all the time. When you want one, it happens it has the style you love available also on sale, that is great, but when it’s not, you know to where you can go to now- Everlane.
