STUDIO VLOG/ Painting Project of Childhood Memory of 80s & 90s in China x Artist

I am a visual artist. I am working on a project that is a series of paintings about the people and environment around me in my childhood memory.

Since I grew up in China in the 80s and 90s, this project will reflect some of the old objects from 80s and 90s in China. The one you can in this video is the second painting from the series. I am painting two of my cousins and I are sitting together eating grape in my grandparents house when we were little.

By creating this project I guess it's one of the way I express my gratitude to the people who loved and helped me and my family when I was little. I grow up in a single family, things are not easy for us, especially my mom. I truly appreciate everyone who helped us, who gave their love to that little girl.

Hopefully this project can be show in gallery next year.
