With facial features, I can draw average 8-10 minutes per person, average 6 guests per hour. Without facial features, average 5-7 minutes per person, average 10 guests per hour. ( Usually watercolor take a bit longer than acrylic color pen, but it’s not a big different.)

  • What is the different between watercolor and acrylic color pen, also with and without facial features?besides the style, Is the price different?

The answer is yes and no. I charge per hour, that means the price is depends on how many hours you book for the event, not the style of the drawing. However, with facial features takes more time than without, that means if you have more guests, you might need to book me for longer time. For example, if you have a event/wedding that has 50 guests. For without facial features, you will need to book at least 5 hours to competed the drawing for all guests. However, for with facial features, it takes at least 8 hours. For this case, with facial features drawing is definitely cost more, but if you have a event of 12 guests, you will only need to book me for 2 hours, in this case, with or without facial features is the same price, it’s just depending on the art style of your preference. For watercolor and acrylic color pen, usually watercolor take a bit longer than acrylic color pen, but it’s not a big different.

  • How do I book you for my event?

You will begin by filling out my inquiry form. I will respond you by email if I am available on that day and give a custom quote for the price. Once you are ready to proceed you will see there is a contract to sign and invoice to pay. I require a 30% non-refundable retainer that will be due after the contract is signed. The rest would be due 2 weeks prior to your event. Please understand that you are only booked once pay the deposit.

  • How far in advance should I book you?

I suggest reaching out 3 months - 1 year before your wedding date. I have limited spots open each month and once a date and/or month is booked, it is no longer available. I follow a first booked, first served basis where your contract and retainer must be completed to secure your spot.

  • How many hours should you book?

I require minimum of 2 hours. I will be at the event at least 30 mins before your book time to set it the space.

Please understand that I charge by hour, so please tell me exactly what time I should be there start drawing. If it’s a wedding, please tell me to go during the cocktail hour to reception because that is usually the time guests come up to me for a drawing. Please do not ask me to go early during ceremony, because guests can not come to me since they are all watching the ceremony. Don’t forget, you are paying me per hourly, unless you like to pay me sitting at your ceremony doing nothing. lol

A little heart to heart advice, if this is your wedding, please book enough time for almost all guests can have a drawing. My goal is to make my client also their guests have the most amazing wedding experience ever. If you have 50 guests but you only book me for 2 hours, that means only maximum 20 guests that have a drawing, this might make the other 30 guests upset. For that case, both you and me don’t look good for the guests. I hope you understand this is a heart to heart talk.

  • Do the guests need to stand there the whole time while you draw them?

No, most people don’t feel comfortable to stand that 5-10 mins without moving. Your guests will post then I take a picture and draw from the picture. They are welcome to leave and come back later or hang around as I draw their portrait live. I love meeting people and chatting with your guests. I will only draw the pictures I take during the event.

  • Will you travel?

    Yes. Travel fee might apply.

  • What will we (the host/guest of honor) need to provide?

I will bring my art supplies and signage. I require you to provide a table with 2 chairs. The best type of table to work on is long but not very wide table, because the guests can get closer to watch me draw also the table has enough space to display the finished drawings. However, I can also work on smaller or round table, not less than 3ft long is better. If this is your wedding, your cocktail hour is located in a separate location of the reception, I require a table to be set up in both locations. Last, I do not work under the sun directly, what I mean is without any cover on top, we are in Florida, can be rain any time any where, also I am super sensitive with the sun light that I cannot see well under the sun directly.

  • Will you draw the host/guest of honor?

Of course I will if you come up to me for a drawing. However, I highly suggest you to add on a package from $150 to $300 that offer drawings of you (the guest of honor/bride and groom). This allows you to interact and be super present on your special/wedding day with your guests! The drawing is based on a picture perfect moments from your special/wedding day. The drawing is in a more refined, detailed, and with my art unique style on a 9 x 12 inches watercolor paper which are bigger than the guest portrait drawing. You will receive this memory package within 4-6 weeks of wedding day.

  • What art medium do you use?

I use water-resistant ink pen, watercolor on watercolor paper or acrylic color pen on mix media paper.

  • What size is the drawing?

Acrylic color pen drawing on mix media paper is A5 which is 5.8 x 8.3 inches.

Watercolor on watercolor paper is 6 x 9 inches.

  • How are we communicate before the event?

After you booked, we will schedule a 30 mins zoom call that I will ask you question about the event/wedding and you can let me know something that I should pay attention to or any question for me.

  • What will you be wearing?

I typically wear a formal dress that matches your event/wedding’s theme. If there have a special requests, I would be happy to adhere to the dress code!
